Fees & rebates
Fees are in line with Australian Psychological Society guidelines. We will discuss details when I follow-up your appointment enquiry. Contact me for further information or to book an appointment.
Medicare Rebates
With a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you will receive a rebate of $136.50 each session (up to10 in a calendar year). Under this process you need your GP to make a referral to me for the sessions to be covered.
You may be eligible for an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP) which is also obtained from a GP and this plan covers 40 sessions in a calendar year.
Health Fund Rebates
If you have a private health fund, your ‘extras’ cover may offer rebates for psychology.
Check with your insurance provider whether psychology might be covered, the limit covered, and whether they require you to expend your Medicare entitlement first.
Third party payments
You may also have a third-party insurer (e.g Department of Veteran Affairs, NDIS or workplace insurers) who has accepted payment for psychology sessions.
Direct payment / No referral
You can also book appointments directly with me without a referral if you choose to pay the full session fee after each visit.
Payments & Cancellations
Payments
Cash or credit card payments are accepted at the time of your appointment. Where a third party is involved and have agreed to pay for psychology sessions (NDIS, Department of Veteran Affairs, workplace insurers), the sessions will be billed directly to them.
Cancellation Policy
By booking an appointment, it is assumed you have committed to attend those sessions set aside for you.
If, for some reason you need to cancel or postpone the appointment, please provide more than 48 hours notice, otherwise you may be charged for the session. The following fees are generally charged:

24--48 hours notice: 50% of fee

0--24 hours notice: 100% of fee
